Puffer UniFi AVS Upgrade
Last week we announced a significant upgrade to Puffer UniFi AVS, enabling sub-10 millisecond execution guarantees to OP-based rollups, with over $3 million ETH in restaked security backing its economic safety.
The announcement made headlines in the likes of Metaverse Post and Benzinga, outlining how Puffer UniFi AVS delivers a production-ready path to Ethereum-native, sub-10ms transaction guarantees, backed by slashing collateral and rollup revenue incentives. By combining Ethereum composability, fast execution, and restaked economic security, we are enabling the next generation of rollups to become more performant, secure, and developer-friendly.
With Puffer UniFi AVS, we are making ultra-fast block inclusion possible while aligning incentives between validators, rollup operators, and users. We look forward to welcoming developers and institutions looking to build with speed, composability, and aligned incentives, as Puffer Preconf is now open for testnet integration.

Ethereum Turns 10!
With every upgrade, Ethereum keeps proving why it’s still the most advanced programmable blockchain out there. And now that institutions are getting serious about blockchain, Ethereum, with its rollup ecosystem, is the obvious place to build. PufETH is live on TAC
The TACpufETH Vault recently landed on TAC, a chain purpose-built to bring EVM dApps into the TON and Telegram ecosystem. This represented a major step for expanding Puffer into new user bases without compromising decentralization. We’re pleased to report that migration went smoothly, $CARROT incentives kept flowing, and deposits and withdrawals are now fully open. PufferDAO Report
We recently released the latest PufferDAO report, covering Epoch 12 (ended July 3) and Epoch 13 (ended July 17, 00:01 UTC). Core gauge power plays remained steady, but vault dynamics and new lending integrations introduced subtle shifts across the board. Here are some key highlights:
- vePUFFER saw a notable pullback, dropping from 24.5% in Epoch 11 to 17.6% by Epoch 13
- CARROT staking cemented dominance, crossing 23% and holding strong at the top
- Pendle continued to fade, with YT gauge near 1% and LP share barely registering

Sun is Setting on $PUFFER Season 2
Season 2 of Puffer is now coming to an end, representing another important milestone in our roadmap. For those who participated, Season 2 brought even more rewards, expanding the airdrop to those contributing across LRT, Puffer UniFi and UniFi AVS. As part of the Season 2 updates, Puffer’s governance mechanism also evolved, introducing a more dynamic and participatory model, with Puffer Governance Gauges determining how incentives are directed to various protocols, DeFi integrations, or pools where on-chain CARROT tokens can be earned.
In Season 2 we also introduced a new approach to token distribution, leveraging ERC20 points and community governance to create a more decentralized and sustainable incentive mechanism. Stay tuned to what’s coming next!
