By introducing a new calendar for voting and reward epochs, this system gives everyone more time to participate in governance and enjoy the rewards that come with it.

🗓️ The New Calendar Structure
Starting from Epoch 19, each $CARROT campaign will now follow a consistent monthly rhythm:
- Voting window: 2 weeks
- Rewards epoch: 4 weeks
This cycle ensures that Puffer’s governance, incentives, and products stay in sync, creating a smoother experience for participants and stronger alignment across the ecosystem.
🥕 Updated $CARROT Claiming
Alongside the new structure, several claiming rules have been refined to maintain a healthy and sustainable reward flow:
- Gauges and voting now take place directly through the rebuilt Puffer App.
- mtwCARROT → $CARROT redemptions remain on a 30-day window.
- $CARROT → $PUFFER now follows a 180-day withdrawal window, ensuring long-term alignment and balanced token emissions.
- $CARROT may be converted into $PUFFER at a fixed rate of 100 $CARROT to 55 $PUFFER.
While the $CARROT → $PUFFER conversion has a 180-day withdrawal window, $CARROT remains a liquid asset. Users can either hold $CARROT for the discounted $PUFFER conversion, sell it on the market or stake and lock it for boosted rewards.
Additionally, users can acquire $CARROT in the market to take advantage of the $CARROT → $PUFFER conversion discount. This caters to both long-term ecosystem alignment and immediate liquidity needs.
